Soy La Villita is a short documentary film showing how La Villita Park is a fuerza in la comunidad. La Villita is a lively site within an industrial desert that carries a heavy history of contamination. Using the park as the main subject, we tell the story of a place that yearns to survive and be loved.

Creating this documentary was a leap into new processes. Our team of three had no film experience and now had to produce a high-quality short feature. Through hours and hours of shooting, reshooting, sequencing, editing, color-correcting, and re-editing, we prevailed. And I got to learn Adobe Premiere Pro pretty well!
